As I sit here chowing on some Thanksgiving leftovers, in my pajamas, surrounded by all of my crap from my apartment, my office, my parents house that somehow needs to fit into 3 suitcases or my old bedroom, it seems somewhat unfathomable to me that I am actually boarding a plane in 8 hours...a plane that will take me to Geneva where I am going to be living for the next two years. The past week has been a whirlwind with hardly any sleep, packing and unpacking and repacking, cleaning, hugs and crying and karaoke at Trader Todds and in the family kitchen. Saying goodbye has been very hard but I am still excited for the experiences that are ahead of me. I just found out that I am going to the Lyon office in a week for training...now I think that is the equivalent of Chicago going to the Milwaukee office but nonetheless I'm going to France for training!
So I'm not exactly sure when I will have internet or a phone. Once I do get internet the blog should really get going. Should be interesting for example to go to the pharmacie and try to figure out what all of the different cosmetic items are. Time for more packing in my stoplight green colored suitcases which I am ready to throw out the window!
